Chicken Flower Dumplings

Ingredients

Chicken mince 300 grams
Basmati rice, soaked 3/4 cup
Ginger paste 1 teaspoon
Green chillies, chopped 2-3
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves, chopped 2 tablespoons
Black peppercorns, crushed 10-12
Banana leaves 1

Method

Heat sufficient water in a steamer.
Line the perforated steamer container with banana leaf.
Take chicken mince in a bowl.
Add ginger paste, green chillies, salt, coriander leaves and crushed black peppercorns.
Mix well.
Spread the soaked rice in a plate.
Grease your palms, take small portions of chicken mince, shape into balls and roll them in the rice.
Place these balls over the banana leaf in the perforated container.
Place this in the steamer, close the lid and steam for about fifteen minutes on medium heat.
Serve hot.
