Tangy Aloo

Ingredients:

2 medium sized potatoes, sliced
1 tsp chat masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 small green chilli, finely chopped
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
pinch of hingg
1 small onion, sliced
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
1/2 tsp oil
few chopped coriander leaves


Method:

* Heat oil in a non stick pan.
* Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and pinch of hing. When they start to splutter, add green chilli and sliced potatoes
* Mix well and add chilli powder, chat masala, salt and coriander leaves.
* Cook it on a low flame. Keep mixing often.
* Cook it till potatoes are cooked and crispy.
* Once done, take it out in a bowl, add onions, lemon juice and a little more chat masala if you want it more tangy.


Serving Suggestions:

Can be served as a starter, snack or a dry vegetable.

Tip:

* Make sure use a non stick pan to cook as it needs ot be cooked till crispy.
* I prefer it to be a little brown as it gives a nice crispy and chat-like feeling.
