Idli Manchurian

INGREDIENTS

5 nos Idli
1 big Onion
1 Capsicum
1/2 tsp Lemon rind
5 tbsp Gram flour
2 tsp Chilli powder
1 tbsp fenugreek leaves (Dry)
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tbsp corn flour
1 tsp Crushed pepper
A pinch of Food colour,orange (optional)
1 tsp Garam masala
A pinch of Dry mango powder
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp soy sauce
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying
Water to mix

METHOD

Cut Idlis to thick 1'' slices.
Dice onions and capsicums to cubes & keep aside.

In a bowl, mix gramflour, chilli powder, dry mango powder, dry fenugreek, garam masala, pepper, corn flour, food colour and salt.

Add water and mix this batter till thick pouring consistency is formed.

Dip the idlis in to this batter and deep fry till crispy and brown & keep aside.

In another pan, heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, diced onions, capsicums, and lemon rind, soya sauce and sprinkle some salt and add the fried idlis and mix for 1min and serve hot.
