Curry flavoured Pasta

Ingredients

3 cups Ziti pasta (long tube shape)
1/2 cube vegetable broth
1 finely chopped onion
1 peeled tomato
1 clove finely sliced garlic
1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
1/2 tsp coriander powder
a pinch of turmeric powder
1/4 tsp jeera powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp ghee or butter
3 tbsp grated mozerella cheese

Directions

Boil pasta in water along with salt.
After it is cooked, drain the water in a vessel (don't throw it).
Cool the pasta under cold running water to stop further cooking.
Pour some oil on pasta and mix well, so that pasta will not stick with each other.
Grind the tomato well.
Place a big pan on a medium flame. Melt ghee or butter.
Put garlic slices.
Fry untill golden brown.
Add onion; Fry till it becomes transparent.
Add ground tomato.
Add chilli flakes, coriander powder, turmeric powder, jeera powder, salt.
Pour 1/2 cup of pasta boiled water which was drained in a vessel.
Now add broth cube. Mix. Close the pan with a lid.
Let it cook for 3 mins.
Now open the lid. Add pasta and mix well.
Keep on flame untill most of water evaporate and the masala binds on the pasta.
Add 1 tbsp cheese and mix well.
Turn off the flame.
Serve this yummy pasta garnished with remaining cheese.

(optional) You can add boiled chicken or mutton pieces or boiled prawns when you add the broth. Use chicken, mutton or prawn broth cube accordingly.
