Ingredients | ||
4 slices of bread(brown or atta or white; sandwich or normal) 1/4 cup malai (thick cream) 1 tablespoon cheese spread or 1/4th cup grated cheese 1 small finely chopped onion/ 1 shoot of spring onion with leaves 1 leaf of lettuce (optional) 1/2 finely chopped cucumber 1/4finely chopped carrot 1/4 finely chopped medium sized tomato 1 pod of garlic finely choppedor crushed 1 tablespoon finely chopped corriander, celery or pudina butter as per required salt to talste 2 pinches chilliflakes or chilli powder dash of pepper (optional) | ||

Method | ||
mix all the vegetables, cream and cheese and masalas together in a bowl. ensure that the vegetables are coated with the cream and cheese, if not you could add some more cheeseor cheese spread. divide this into two portions and place one portion betweeen two slices of bread and grill using butter to grease. grill till light brown and serve with tomato sauce. | ||

children love this sandwich. youcould reduce the chilli for children. you could use mayonnaise as well. you could keep the mixture in the refridgerator and leave for work, your kids only will have to place it between the bread and grill it up for them selves. |
