Picnic Sandwich

Ingredients:

Bread 1 loaf
Butter to spread

2 cucumber, sliced
3 tomatoes, sliced
Pepper to taste
Tomato ketchup

For Green Chutney:

4 green chillies, chopped
1 cup chopped coriander leaves
2 tbsp. grated coconut or roasted gram dal

1 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. sugar
Salt to taste

Method:

For Green Chutney:

Grind all the chutney ingredients to a smooth paste with little water.Keep aside.

For Sandwiches:

Trim the edges of the bread slices.
On one bread slice spread the butter, thin layer of green chutney and place sliced cucumber
For the second layer place another buttered bread slice to it and place sliced tomatoes.
Top sprinkle with little salt and pepper.
Now to another bread slice spread butter and little ketchup, place this on top layer.
Press the sandwich a little and cut to triangle shape.

Repeat the same for the rest of the bread loaf.
