Ingredients:
Paneer - 250 gms
Tomato - 2 large
Potato - 1 large or 2 small
Onion - 1 large
Ginger Paste - 2 teaspoon
Cumin (Jeera) Seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cumin (Jeera) Powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder - 2 teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder - 1 teaspoon
Oil - 5 tablespoon
Salt - 11/2 teaspoon or to taste
Sugar - pinch
Tomato Sauce - 1 tablespoon
Water - 1 cup
Garam Masala - 1/2 teapoon
Preparation:
1) Cut Paneer into small cubes, potatoes into similar shape as the paneer
2) Chop the tomato and onion
3) Heat oil in a pan and fry the paneer till light golden in color, take them out
4) Fry the potatoes in the oil, till golden in colour, take them out
5)In the same oil, now add the cumin seeds
6) When they start to crackle, add the onion and fry till golden brown in colour
7)Add the ginger paste and the tomato and tomato sauce
8) Fry it well, then add the water and stir for 2 minutes
9) Add the fried paneer and potatoes
10) Cover the pan wih a lid and leave on medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes
11) Make sure the gravy is thick, add Garam Masala (optional) and stir for a minute
12)Tomato Paneer is ready to eat!
TIPS: Never add garlic to any paneer dish ;)
Add dolop of cream with any paneer dish!!!
